Duke

Duke is a welcoming presence in the Church. He joined the church 6 years ago after spending a while in Nigeria. He loves his Sunday services and when he moved into the area he remembered the church in the middle of the road and has been here ever since!

Throughout his time at Bow Church he has been involved in lots of areas and currently he leads intercessions and is part of the welcome team. His highlight of being at Bow Church was when the Church won an award from the Heritage fund to conduct tower restoration and build accessible toilets enabling more activities to happen in the church.

Duke can see how Jesus has had a hand in his life throughout his years, from being in the midst of a civil war in Nigeria in his teens through to his family life now and how Jesus has had shaped his prayers for his family. Events in the last few years have revealed to him how Christ truly is a guide in his life.
