From 6–13 September 2026, Bow Church will be joining with the global Church to pray in every nation on earth as part of the Global Week of Prayer. We sense God’s invitation to unite together to lift up the name of Jesus.
We would encourage you to listen to 24-7 Prayer’s Lectio 365 daily devotional each day of the Week of Prayer. More than 300k people around the world regularly follow these devotions and it’s a great way to join in with this global week. Pray where you are, when you can
24-7 Prayer is an international movement of people committed to non-stop prayer, thousands of communities in hundreds of countries, have taken part in these bursts of continuous, all-day prayer.
We are new to this and we are starting small. But, we wanted to offer you the chance to commit to a prayer slot during the week. Our ‘prayer room’ will be in front of the altar at 230 Bow Road and will only be open on Wed 9, 09.00-16.00. However, you can also ‘book’ to pray from home, committing to a slot whenever that suits you.

Start together, stay together
We will start each day together in prayer. On Wednesday we will meet together for Morning Prayer as normal; and, on the other week days - Mon, Tue, Thu & Fri - we’re offering the chance to join a 20 min Zoom call, at 07.30 to pray together. We will say a quick hello, listen to the Lectio 365 devotional & end by praying.
We’re encouraging you also to set an alarm for midday each day, so that you can stop and say a short prayer.
Scale the heights together
We will have some high points during the week. Moments to gather and seek God together.
On Wed 9 Sep, starting at 7pm, we’ll do Prayer & a Pint, meeting outside church for a prayer walk round our community, and finishing in a local pub.
And, on Sun 13 Sep, at 5pm, for example, we will hold our monthly prayer & worship gathering. What better way to end a week of prayer!
